Could I be told how to register to vote by post at the next elections (London Mayor?).
I do want to vote but I am still furious because the last time I went to vote, my personal voting situation was discussed, in front of me, as if I did not exist. (Very much on the lines of Faulty Towers, which got away with it because it was a long time ago!). The person who looked at my voting card and checked me on the list said:'' Ah,.. EEC!'', not to me, but to her colleagues, pointing to the difference in my voting card number. Perhaps she thought they needed educating but, she ignored the fact I exist (and understand English)!
Of course, nothing wrong with being EEC and not Bristish, but,... I don't see myself as EEC since I have lived here for ages, and voted many times, as a foreign resident of the UK. I don't think that the personal circumstances of anybody should be discussed publicly. I might be over sensitive but I would rather vote by mail than go through the same performance.
