This also included the number of fied chicken shops and licenced premises including the night club near seven kings station and the new Irish Bar on the High Road, Nr MacDonalds.
These premises having a detrimental effect on the area.
The local council and local councillors need to address this issue.
Am I missing something, I pass that way quite often and have not noticed an Irish bar. I must say I have enjoyed the food at the Tent, which was something new, if not for me than for the locale. I enjoy middle-eatern food occasionally and quite like the place near the station on Cranbrook road, the one that I think used to be Lloyds bank, but the service in there was a little laconic, although the food was worth the wait.
As for mexican, I know that the building that was the casino, an unknown (to me) nightclub, and at one time a Que Pasa had a Tex-Mex theme during this latter stage of its history, but maybe it was not very successful, leading to its closure. I for one would rather enjoy a good traditional Tapas bar with an open front and the chance to chat with friends over a half pint of cerveza and a few nibbles, but I don't have the wherewithal to open one myself. Any Spanish chefs and financial angels on the board ?????
