Schools and community groups can apply for a grant of up to £1000 to run an event or project during this year's Climate Week to help raise awareness of climate change in the community. Climate Week (12-18 March) is an exciting national campaign offering people the chance to do their bit and take action to protect our planet. Calling all schools and community groups This year, Redbridge Council is offering schools and community groups the chance to join thousands of others in raising awareness of climate change. All ideas will be considered, no matter how big or small, and can range from quizzes and competitions to creating wildlife gardens. The list is endless, so be imaginative. An application form and Terms and Conditions of how to apply. Email sustainability@redbridge.gov.uk or call 020 8708 2570. The closing date for applications is Tuesday 7 February 2012.
