I am planning on extending my house and need some advice on what can be extended or not. Where can I get further information on this?

There are a vast number of sites on the internet where you can get advice on planning and development issues, the Redbridge website also has an extensive Frequently Asked Questions section in the Planning and Building Section of the Planning Service pages which answer most questions regarding building and development.

I would say wait until the LDF is adopted in the next few months and the UDP goes in the bin. Policies may be more householder friendly. LBR Planning do have a drop in stop shop in Lynton House, 255-259 High Road where a duty planners may offer free advise if you are lucky.
