TAKE ACTION FOR SEVEN KINGS (TASK) was launched on 1 January 2008. Its purpose is to highlight the injustice being carried out by the Council leadership to the community of Seven Kings and to build an action group of hundreds that will have sufficient power to get the Council to listen and make decisions that develop and promote the area of Seven Kings in the same way that they do the areas of Redbridge that they have an interest in.

We will be looking at issues such as the use of the car and lorry park, the need for a library, better cleansing, improvements to the station, a varied shopping parade, more parking facitlities, policing resources, more open spaces, saving the allotments, etc

If you would be interested in knowing more or participating then please contact Chris Connelley : chrisconnelley@ntlworld.com

TASK and Area Committee 5 may be interested in this:

http://www.london.gov.uk...ase.jsp?releaseid=19338

Seven Kings and Goodmayes are among 20 areas selected by the London Mayor for the next phase of the 10,000 new street trees programme.

Of course a Library and Swimming pool would be nice too!
